Preamble - Homoeopathy

            In India Homoeopathy took its root by self trained Homoeopaths. The science of Homoeopathy is being propagated through teaching Institutions and with the help of dedicated teachers. Dakshin Kesari Muni Mishrilalji Homoeopathic Medical College & Hospital is started in 1989 with aims and objects to give quality and standard education in Homoeopathy science. It has also intended to create “Seva Bhav” in the minds of students to serve the society as Doctors. This college is one of the biggest Homoeopathic Medical College in the Country and pioneer in the Homoeopathic Research and development work in the State of Maharashtra.

College Management :

            The world famous Guru Ganesh Jain Shikshan Samiti is running this college.  There are about 1000 members spread over all over India; The persons of Jain principles and interested in social works are in thousands who came together and started this institute.  This Sanstha is not of any family members or group of persons or of any individual but it is a educational trust being run totally as per democratic principles & with the inspiration and blessing of Great Saint Late Mishrilalji Ma.Sa. It is in progress with the blessing of saints / Sadhaviji coming over in Sanstha premises.

About College

            The DKMM Homoeopathic Medical College is established in 1989.  The Teaching Departments , Library , Hospital and U.G./P.G. Hostel  are located on one and the same college campus admeasuring 14 acres of land behind famous Bi-Bi-Ka Maqbara and very near to Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University. It will also be necessary  to mention that the college premises is situated on Aurangabad Caves Road & with the blessing of a Great Jain Saint Muni Mishrilalji. It is 10 kms away from Air Port, Aurangabad, 2 Kms away from Central Bus Stand and 4 kms from Aurangabad Railway Station . City buses upto University building and Rikshas are available to come over to D.K.M.M.  College. The greeneries are developed on campus and due to this one feel always cool when enter in college. The class room , Laboratories are well furnished and fully equipped with Audio – Visual teaching aids with modern facilities.  It is one of the biggest and popular Homoeopathic Medical College and Hospital in India.  This college is getting ‘A’ Grade from Govt. of Maharashtra amongst 42 affiliated colleges in Maharashtra  since 4 to 5 years.  The College is also getting ‘A’ grade from University.  It has biggest Library, area, maximum nuimber of experienced teaching staff.  We are proud that for M.D.(Homoeo) external P.G. Course, renowned Homoeopath at National level, officers in CCRH, Member of CCH, CCRH research fellows, 15 principals of colleges have registered their names in our college to uplift their qualification in Homeopathy.

College Building

            The college has its own building with decent fittings and fixtures . The College Management has provided separate block to each department . The Laboratories are also installed separately .The Seminar Hall is also provided for the students. The Hospital of 100 beds, hostel for P. G. and U. G. boys and girls are provided separately on one and the same college campus. The college Management has also undertaken the construction of New Girls Hostel for accommodating 120 students and it is nearing Completion. The admission to this hostel will be made in the middle of the academic year 2003-04. The total cost of all buildings is about 1.50 crores or so. The Hostel rooms are provided for the students with all bear needs. The college Gymkhana with indoor and outdoor game facilities and also big play ground with all facilities are provided in the college. The Canteen is running on the campus and the Principal personally check the eatables and meals provided for students periodically. The canteen is under the tight supervision of the Principal. The canteen and its Rajasthani, Panjabi, Maharashtrian & South Indian meal is the attraction of D.K.M.M. College. Aqua-guard filter drinking water facility is also provided in the college. The Mess Charges in Canteen are fixed as Rupees 6000/- Per Annum.  This may be paid in two equal installments.

General Rules and Observance of Discipline

1. Student should obtain identity card from the college as prescribed
2. No student will be allowed in Library without identity card.
3. Student should produce identity card whenever demanded. The Student  should always bear the identity card issued by the college whenever they leave College Campus.
4. Student should not be absent for classes, examination , practicals. In  case of their absence they may loose their term.
5.  Smoking and Non Veg. are strictly prohibited on College Campus.
6. The absence of student without permission or participation in agitation will be treated as an act of indiscipline. The in disciplinary action will be taken against them. The decision of the Principal in the matter shall be final.
7. No Society, Union or Association of the students shall be formed in college. Unconcerned outsider can not be invited to address a meeting of the students without prior permission of the Principal.
8. The Management reserve its right to prescribe rules in addition to above rules with out prior notice
9. Students should observe the discipline of the college and hostel.
10. Students not observing the discipline is liable to be expelled or fined.
11. College Uniform for students is compulsory
