                                          . . . . . . . . . A STEP TOWARDS NEW ERA

             With Hahnemannian blessings, a landmark event has been carried out with great success. This event is nothing but XV All India Homoeopathic Congress organized by HMAI in technical collaboration with Central Council of Homoeopathy, New Delhi and was hosted by the tri-stand pillars of Homeo world of Maharashtra Dr. Arun Bhasme (Beed), Dr. S.M. Desarda (Aurangabad) & Dr. V.R. Kavishwar (Khamgaon).

            This is the event that has happened with collaboration of thousands of hands, millions of good wishes and guided by stalwarts. This event has created a history, as redefined the Homoeo-platforms & directed Homoeo research into a new horizon. The silent features of this events can be enumerated as follows.

THE BIGGEST CONGRESS IN THE HISTORY OF HOMOEOPATHY:      

As HMAI is the biggest and strongest organization amongst all others, the XV Congress has also marked its big foots in the history of Homoeopathy. It was the hallmark of unity, strength and has pronounced the equivocal voice of near about 5000 Practitioners, Teachers, U.G. & P.G. Students really firmed the statement that it was the “Mahakumbh” of Hahnemannian followers.

XV ALL INDIA CONGRESS OR GLOBAL CONGRESS ?!!!

            Although it was named as all India Congress but it has proved that now its Homeocolleagues through out the world are now coming together with hand in hand and deserve a change, a change towards more scientificity. The event got a grace by presence of delegates all the way from Germany, Southafrica, Russia, Rest of European Countries and most of South Asian Countries as like Nepal, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Srilanka Etc.


 

A GLANCE OF POSTGRADUATE SEMINAR

AT ‘LATE SMT. KESHARKAKU KSHIRSAGAR SABHAGRUH’

(HALL NO. 1)

GRAND INAUGURATION

The Post Graduate seminar of the historic XV ALL INDIA HOMOEOPATHIC CONGRESS – 2006, AURANGABAD began with a grand inaugural ceremony where eminent Homoeopath and advisor Homoeopathy to Govt. of India Dr. S. P. Singh was present to grace the occasion. Member  of  Legislative Council Mr. Shrikant Joshi from Aurangabad, HMAI National President Dr. Mahendra Singh; HMAI Secretary General Dr. V. C. Acharya; Secretary of CCH Dr. Lalit Verma & Scientific Committee  Chairman Dr. D. P. Rastogi were also present to glitter the function. CCH members Dr. V. J. Jose (Kerala), Dr. Shrivatsan (Karnataka), Dr. Pinakin Trivedi (Gujarat), Dr. Aniruddh Verma (U.P.) Dr. Vidya Prakash (Kerala), Dr. R. D. Tapadiya (Maharashtra), Dr. Narayan Debnath (Assam) were also present on this occsion. The key note speakers for the day Dr. Kumar Dhawle, Director of the ICR Group of Organisations; Dr. L. M. Khan, I/C Director of the NIH Kolkata; Dr. S. M. Singh from Allhabad, Dr. M. A. Udachankar, Principal of  A.M. Shaikh HMC  Belgaum and Dr. Subhas Singh, P.G. Co-ordinator of NIH Kolkata were also present on the dais. The Organising Secretaries Dr. Arun Bhasme, Dr. S. M. Desarda and Dr. V. R. Kavishwar along with Office Secretary of XV AIHC Dr. Mrs. K. S. Desarda were present on the stage to carry out the ceremony.

As per the Homoeopathic traditions the ceremony began with garlanding the statue of Dr. Hahnemann. This ceremony was followed by a Ganpati Stuti and prayer. The dignitaries offered a floral tribute to Late Mrs. Kesharkaku Kshirsagar to whom the hall was dedicated.

The anchors Dr. Pawan Dongre from Aurangabad and Dr. Subhas Singh, P. G. Co-ordinator, NIH, Kolkata praised the services of the Late Kesharkaku and reminded the audiences of her dedication and passion for the science of Homoeopathy.

 In that beautiful auditorium hall where more than 700 Post Graduate and 2500 Undergraduate students were present, the Organizing Secretaries informed the audiences how this august gathering was arranged and what efforts it took to make this grand gathering possible. They welcomed all the delegates to this seminar. All the dignitaries on the dais were given a floral welcome by the Organizing Secretaries

The chief guest and Member of the Legislative Assembly from Aurangabad Mr. Shrikant Joshi delivered an inspiring speech.       

The Advisor Homoeopathy, Dr. S. P. Singh delivered a beautiful enlightening speech and informed that the government is trying to support the system of Homoeopathy and there stands a wide open field for the Post Graduate students in the Academic and Research area. The growing standards of educations and improvement in the available clinical facilities should help the new generation homoeopath to be stand higher in the competitive world.

The next speaker, Dr. D.P. Rastogi Ex. Chairman of the P. G. Committee of CCH came forth with many emotions and a heart full of happiness. He conveyed that he has no words to speak but his heart is full of joy. This conference and P.G. seminar should redefine the standing of homoeopathy in the Medicine world.

Dr. Mahendra Singh conveyed that there stands an urgent need for the Homoeopathic Physicians and all concerned in the world of Homoeopathy to stand united and to boldly answer the negative comments coming from the opponents of homoeopathy. He praised the efforts taken by the Organising secretaries and welcomed all the delegates to the seminar.   

 

THE POST GRADUATE SEMINAR

On 23rd the grand inauguration ceremony was followed by the series of interesting lectures. The first in the series was a lecture on ‘Practice of Medicine-As observed’. Hon’ble secretary of CCH Dr. Lalit Verma delivered this lecture. His views were noteworthy and pondering especially for Post Graduate students. The main attraction for this post graduate seminar was that not only students of Post Graduation but many undergraduate students also attended this seminar. The lecture series attracted their attention & active participation.

The second lecture in the series was delivered by Dr. Kumar Dhawle, Hon’ble Director of ICR Group of Organisations. His topic ‘Understanding the Mental state in Homoeopathic prescribing’ along with the cases presentation interested many students. His in-depth analysis and method of prescription on mental state was worth noting.        

The third speaker of the day Dr. M.A. Udachankar delivered a speech on ‘Materia Medica Pura’. His experience & understanding of the subject along with his unique presentation skills made the lecture very interesting & educative.

The next lecturer was Dr. S. S. Kochhar from Gondia College His topic ‘Understanding depression in the light of Homoeopathic Miasmology vis-à-vis current medical knowledge was a combination of psychiatry, Organon of medicine. He covered the entire concept of depression with miasmatic expression of different phases of depression. The whole session was chaired by Respected Dr. D. P. Rastogi sir. He at the end of the session commented & analysed the whole session. His address was followed by Lunch.

The post lunch session was started with a lecture of Dr. Subhas singh   who is a P.G. Co-Ordination at NIH, Kolkata. He shared his experiences and views on ‘keynote Prescription’. His tips and expert advise attained vigil interest and appraise by the credence. Many students took down tips for their future references.

Dr. D.P. Rastogi a stalwart and authority in the filed of Homoeopathic Repertory delivered a speech on Parkinsonism i.e. paralysis agitans He gave detailed analysis of the disease along with the most important Reportorial rubrics for the same. The entire session was chaired by Dr. V.C. Acharya.

The next Speaker Dr. L.M. Khan I/C Director of NIH, Kolkata delivered his views on Miasms in his beautiful speech. He took a journey of evolution of miasms and explained primary stage of each maims. His views along with his interpretation and unique way to approach the topic charmed the audience. The budding Homoeopaths took time out from early evening dizziness and paid need to every spoken word.

The Seminar was highly acclaimed. All delegates were much pleased with the Hospitality and the facilities. The scientific sessions were highly successful as there was record breaking presence in the seminar hall. All delegates listened to every spoken word. Self discipline and pin drop silence in the hall were the most important noteworthy teachers of this seminar.                                                            

The seminar was followed by a vibrant cultural show specially organized to please the delegates.

After the successful initiative of P.G. Seminar the Congress marked its second landmark on 24th December 2006, a day with presentation of scientific papers by renowned, Scientist, who have presented the out put of their years of exhaustive research and experience the day was full off presentations, discussions & workshops the day has started with grand inauguration ceremony which was marked by the auspicious presence of Hon’ble Mr. Jaidutta Anna Kshirsagar (Ex-Minister of Energy Govt. of Maharashtra), Hon’ble Mr. Chandrakantji Khaire (MP, Aurangabad), Hon’ble Dr. Kalayanji Kale (MLA, Aurangabad), Hon’ble Mr. Vikramji Kale (MLC, Aurangabad), Hon’ble Dr. S.P.S.             The stage was full with great soldiers of Hahnemannian battalion and Homeo lovers, everyones’ eyes were enthusiastically waiting to catch-up this nice scene in their memories for the inauguration programme late Smt. Kesharkaku Kshirsagar Hall was exploding out of its capacity with near about 3000 people to witness this historical event of inauguration ceremony.

            In this great symposium amongst festivity as a step towards new era, an initiative by new generation and for new generation but here our organizers have not forgotten the past, the pioneers who have contributed and devoted their entire life for the development of Homoeopathy so such seven Senior pioneers are honored with life time achievement award namely Dr. Babasaheb Kavishwar, Dr. J.U. Khanna, Dr. J.N. Mukherjee, Dr. Jaymal Sanchetti, Dr. Kishor Mehta, Dr. Vilas Dangre, Dr. Prallhadji Wadgaonkar.

 


 

A GLANCE OF SCIENTIFIC SESSIONS ON 24-12-2006

‘LATE SMT. KESHARKAKU KSHIRSAGAR SABHAGRUH’

(HALL NO. 1)

The inaugural session was followed by the lecture of Dr. A. R. Khudabauksh who is person of Department of Zoology, Kalyani University, Kolkatta . His contribution to Homoeopathy cannot be paid by Homoeopath. He presented 180 research paper on Homoeopathy. Under his supervision 7 thesis was made of Homoeopathy. He dedicate his life to prove the scientificity  of Homoeopathy and he did lot of work on potency and how it works on human being through different channel. According to him their of lot of missing link which can be discovered by the student and researcher.

Dr. Akalpita Paranjape who is scientist from Babha Automic Research Centre , Mumbai according to her opinion Homoeopathic Medicine can change him human being which can be proved through Anurheo Photography by which graphical changes seen in the cardiac activity after giving a Homoeopathic potency. So if the people say (criticize) either they have to prove or we have to discard. She told that homoeopathy is a dark tunnel we have to go through the tunnel with torch and come out with faith and logic. She also mention that we have done a lot of work that can only be flourished by the support of Homoeopathy.

Next speaker was Dr. Kumar Dhawale from Dr. M. L. Dhawale Memorial Trust stated that Homoeopathic Medicine is popular in bigger sector but it should be made popular to rural area the speech of Dr. Kumar Dhawale was followed by Dr. N. L. Tiwari of same Institution about how to take a proper case.

Dr. Jawarhar Shah , Mumbai speak about the utility and scope of HOMPATH – the most popluar homoeopathic software.

 

‘DR. BABASHEB KAVISHWAR SABHAGRUH ’ (HALL NO. 2)

The following speakers delivered their speech on respective topics under the chairmanship of the following eminent persons.

  1. Dr. M. A. Udachankar, Principal AM Shaikh HMC, Belgaum Spoken on ‘Vernal Conjunctivitis’ under the chairmanship of Dr. Pradeep Despande, renowned Ophthalmologist of Aurangabad city.
  2. Dr. G. D. Jaiswal, HOD Organon of Medicine, BHMC, Baroda, Gujarat, delivered his speech on ‘Posology & Homoeopathy’ under the chairman ship of Dr. Pannalal De of Kolkata.
  3. Dr. E. S. Rajendran of Eranaculam Kerala, delivered wonderful speech on ‘Homoeopathy & Homoeopath’ under the chairmanship of Dr. T. N. C. Nair, Principal of Chandvad HMC. This lecture was followed by lunch break.
  4. Dr. G.S. Khanna Ex-President HMAI delivered wonderful Lecture on a ‘Case of Syphilitic Miasm’.
  5. Dr. Sunil Parse, Ex-principal, Nagpur HMC, Nagpur delivered his speech on ‘Chikungunya and Homoeopathy’ under the chairmanship of Dr. R.D. Tapadia, Principal Takhatmal HMC, Amaravati.
  6. Dr. Tushar Kanjilal, Gold Medalist in Homoeopathy Faculty of Kolkata, West-Bengal delivered speech on ‘Single Prescription versus Poly Prescription’ under the chairmanship of Dr. S. Panigrahi, Reader Dept. of Community Medicine DKMM HMC, Aurangabad.
  7. Last Lecture of the day was by Dr. Janardanan, Principal Dr.Padiar Memorial HMC, Eranakulam under the chairmanship of Dr. R.K.Chaturvedi. His lecture was on ‘Disaster Management by Homoeopathy’.

The sessions were followed by a dinner break and then the delegates gathered in the Hall No. 1 to enjoy the vibrant cultural extravaganza

 

‘LATE DR. ANIL BHATIA SABHAGRUH’ (HALL NO. 3)

The scientific sessions began by garlanding and paying tribute to Late Dr. Anil Bhatia whom hall no. 3 was dedicated.

Dr. Sukhwant Singh has inaugurated the function as well as chaired the scientific session for the morning.

Dr. Biplav Kundu was the first speaker of the morning. He delivered a lecture on the topic ‘Clinical trials of Carbo veg.’ He stressed upon the rejuvenating power of Carbo veg for the vital force.

Second   speaker of the day was Dr. Leena Dighe; Vice Principal of Dr. V. H. Dave Homoeopathic Medical College, Anand, Gujarat. She spoke on the topic ‘Management of Cancer cases and Homoeopathy’. She laid emphasis on a few remedies like Conium, Hydrastis, Acid flour etc. which were useful in her research. The third speaker was Dr. Jignesh patel from Anand College who spoke on ‘Chikungunya and Homoeopathy’. Dr. A. K. Chturvedi, Principal of Jabalpur HMC chaired the session.

 Dr. Biswajit Basu, lecturer in D.N.De HMC, Govt. of West Bengal was the fourth speaker of the day. He spoke on the topic ‘Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder and nosodes.’ His lecture was very much appreciated by the audience.

The post lunch session first lecture was by Dr, Gyansambandham; Chairman of Tamilnadu Council of Homoeopaths and the Chief Editor of the ‘Homoeo Times’. He presented cases on Uterine Fibroid.

The next speaker in the post lunch session was Dr. Anita Fernandes. She is a lecturer in the Fr. Muller Homoeopathic Medical College. She spoke on ‘Diabetes Mellitus and Homoeopathy’. The next speaker, Dr. Rajat Chattopadhyay; HOD Medicine in the MBHMC, Govt. of west Bengal, delivered a lecture on ‘Stress Management and Homoeopathy’. He advised to do physical exercise and yoga to get rid of stress.

World’s first Ph.D. in Homoeopathy, Dr. Hari Gholap was the next speaker. He delivered a lecture on the topic ‘the Statistics of Infective Hepatitis and Chelidonium’ his statistics was indicative of the role of Homoeopathy in Infective Hepatitis.

The next speaker was Dr. Kedar Thepade. He is an M.B.B.S. and practices homoeopathy. He is a student of the Institute of Classical Homoeopathy, Greece. He stressed much upon the quality of Homoeopathic practice.

Dr. Souraj Das, A Consultant Paediatrician and Associate physician at the Rabindranath Tagore International Institute of Cardiac Sciences, Kolkata was the last lecturer of the day. He delivered a speech on the topic ‘Role of homoeopathy in Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder’

The scientific sessions were followed by the Cultural Programme in the Hall no. 1.

A GLANCE OF SCIENTIFIC SESSION ON 25-12-2006      

‘LATE SMT. KESHARKAKU KSHIRSAGAR SABHAGRUH’

(HALL NO. 1)

            The wintery beautiful Christmas morning began with lecture from eminent Zoologist Dr. N.C. Sukul. He although not belonging to Homoeopathic fraternity, delivered a very interesting lecture on molecules in potencies & their interaction with bio-molecules in which he conveyed  a scope for explanation of the process of potentization.  He  also conveyed that there can be various methods of research where the interaction of potencies with bio-molecules can be documented. The session  chairman Dr. S.M. Singh praised his efforts and felicitated.

            The next lecturer was also a non Homoeopath Mr. Nishant Jain from B. Jain publishers spoke on salient features of the RADAR software. He reminded the audiences of the services of his late grand father Dr. P.N. Jain who painstakingly brought manuscripts of many Homoeopathic books, obtained   copyright and provided the fraternity with  thehomoeopathic books at most economic rates. Today B. Jain publishers are trying to get the rates for RADAR   software as low as possible for the benefit of the students and practitioners.

            Another software manufacturer Dr. Jawahar Shah from Mumbai too committed to bring down the existing rates and to make the software HOMPATH available at a cheaper rate. Both software giants for the first time ever declared to put efforts to bring down the rates of their repertory software for the benefit of students. Dr. S.M. Desarda sir, on behalf of students community requested all computer manufacturers to avail a specially designed low price edition of a laptop which could be affordable for students and researchers. Another interesting lecture in this series was delivered by very eminent Homoeopath, chairman of Tamil Nadu Homoeopathic Council and editor of Homoeo Times, Dr. Gyanasambandham.He presented many cases where justified prescription of different indicated remedies helped the patients to improve and get rid of many difficult pathologies.

Another speaker, Dr. R.D. Tapadia, CCH member and principal of Takhtmal HMC, Amravati, Maharashtra delivered a beautiful speech where he gave tips on paediatric case taking and advised the students to pay attention  to basic principles of Homoeopathic practice  to be a successful Homoeopath.

            Dr.Karl Rudoif from Germany came forth with a lecturer on principals of Homoeopathy. He enlightened the audience with the principal and mode of practice of Homoeopathy as done in the European world and especially in Germany. Dr. V.R. Kavishwar sir chaired this session. He along with Dr. S.M. Singh concluded the session and praised Dr. Karl for his support and dedication to All India Homoeopathic Congress  2006. Dr. Karl and his wife were felicities by Dr. Kavishwar sir.

In a special lecture Dr. Suresh Itapu and his wife Mrs. Sunitha from the “American Soybean Association” delivered a speech on ‘Nutritious benefits of Soybean’  for wealthy living. Dr. O.V. Ramanna,Guntur,Andhra pradesh  chaired this session and thanked Dr. Itapu for his co-operation and kind support to XV All India Homoeopathic Congress.

Last lecturer of the day was from Dr. Narayan Debnath  CCH member from Assam. He delivered a beautiful speech on ‘Study of Materia Medica’

The sessions were followed by a valedictory session.      

 

‘DR. BABASHEB KAVISHWAR SABHAGRUH ’ (HALL NO. 2)

Scientific session of this day began with the auspicious hands of Dr. P.S. Wadgaonkar on the topic Psoriasis under the chairmanship of Dr.Goel sir

Dr. Shrikant Kulkarni. Principal, Gandhinathji Homoeopathic Medical college, Solapur delivered a wonderful lecture on Nuerological Disorders in Cervical and Lumbar Spondylosis under the chairmanship of Dr. Sengar

Dr. Alkesh Khatri Secretary District Coordination committee HMAI, Jabalpur MP, delivered speech on “Criminal Children and Homoeopathy” under the chairmanship of Dr. Kumar Dhawale

Dr. Lalit Boron Chakravorty delivered speech on Homoeopathic Prevention of Stress under the chairmanship of Dr. R. A. Patel of Gujarat.

Dr. K. S. Das was felicitated as he came long way from Koraput, Jaypur Orissa as organizing secretary but not delivered speech due to ill health.

Lastly Dr. Subratopal Choudary, Physician at Municipal Health Centre, Malda West Bengal delivered an amazing lecture on Clinical Researchi in Infertility where dr. Panigrahi Simanchala concluded the speech on infertility as chairman to the session.

Everybody stood and praised the organizing secretaries Dr. S. M. Desarda, Dr. Arun Bhasme and Dr. V. R. Kavishwar for such a nice National Level Homoeopathic Congress in historical city Aurangabad.

 

‘LATE DR. ANIL BHATIA SABHAGRUH’ (HALL NO. 3)

On 25-12-06 the scientific session started by Dr. Mrs. Kakkali Kundu, a lecturer in H.M.M. at Metropolitan H.M.C Kolkata. She had spoken on ‘How to study Materia Medica’. Dr. Udchankar M. A., Principal A.M. Shaikh H.M.C. had chaired the session.

The next speaker Dr. Mrs Udchankar from Dept. of Repertory in A.M.Shaikh H.M.C. Belguam, delivered her lecture on the topic ‘A ray of Hope for male infertility’. This was a very nice presentation.

After that Dr. Sudershana Mukherjee, a Post Graduate student from Kolkata, spoke on Stress Management. Next to her Dr. Amitva Samanta had spoken on the topic Homoeopathy in Malnutrition.

Dr. V. V. Kulkarni, Assistant. Prof in HMM Department of A.M. Shaikh H.M.C. Belguam, spoke on ‘Neurological Disorders like Lumbago and Sciatica and Homoeopathic Management.’

The next speaker, Dr. A. K. Dwivedi from Indore, shown ‘A Case of spinal cord compression’ he treated the patient with Staphysagria on the basis of suppression of anger and sexual desire. The case improved magically aas documented in the MRI scan. The crowd was fascinated. He also gave tips for prevention of Backache.

The last speaker was Dr. Mrs. Nadgir, H.O.D. Anatomy in the A. M. Shaikh HMC, Belgaum. She very finely presented paper on topic ‘Chikungunya and Homoeopathic Management.’ The session was chaired by Dr. Triloki Nath Kshtriya.

The last lecture was followed by a valedictory session at the Hall No. 1

 

VALEDICTORY CEREMONY

-----START OF JOURNEY WITH NEW VISION  

The last day of the congress was with a shadow of morose as every body was feeling a heavy heart for the valedictory ceremony of such a nice educational research oriented and interesting gathering.

            The last day important events were meeting of HMAI central as well as state branches members, meeting of Principals association. Dr. Jawahar Shah Sponsored a lucky draw with   prize of 3 mobile handsets was a attractive feature. At the end      X-mas was celebrated with presence of Mr. & Mrs. Rudalf from Germany, X-mas Songs were played &  Sweet cake was cut to celebrate the occasion.

            The programme was concluded with facilitation of  all the delegates, Organising committee members, and all allied committee members and lastly every body was given a farewell bye bye with nice sweet food a certificate a gift bag a souvenir and a nice memento.

… . Hence this XVth All India Congress really taken a step towards new era, a era  with scientificity of the future.
