About Hospital Superintendent :
Dr.Mrs.K.S.Desarda is working as Hospital Superintendent since 15 years. She always stand behind Dr.S.M.Desarda and assist to cultivate the programme of College including development plans. She is equally encouraged by college management as Dr.S.M.Desarda gets the encouragement. She worked in different categories of teachers at DKMM College since 1990 till today as lecturer, Assistant Professor (HOD), Professor. She has performed the duty as academician and also administrative duties in her capacity as IC-Principal, Vice-Principal and Hospital Superintendent. |

She is approved PG Teacher and PG Guide as approved by CCH. She is functioning as co-ordinator of PG courses and Director of Drugs Proving & Research and also performing the duties as Director for the DKMM Research and Development Center and Research work leading to award of Ph.D Degree. She bears 22 years teaching experience at Under Graduate level and 10 years at Post Graduate level.
Dr.Mrs.Desarda worked on different authorities of Maharashtra University of Health Sciences in her capacity as Chairman of Board of Studies in PG Clinical Subjects also at Dr.Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University, Aurangabad on Academic Council, LIC appointing Committee, Ad-hoc-Board in Yoga & Naturopathy, Research & Recognition Committee. She has conducted inspections of Homoeopathic colleges in her capacity as inspectors of Center Council of Homoeopathy (CCH), New Delhi and also inspections assigned by the University. She was nominated as Office Secretary of HMAI Congress 2006 held at Aurangabad. Apart from academic responsibility she takes keen interest in Social work. She worked as member on selection committees to select the teachers in colleges as per guidelines of the University and as nominated by Hon’ble Vice chancellor. It may not be out of place to say that the university every year consider her name for nomination on selection committee of the teacher taking into account her sincerity, enthusiasm to work for the university.
She has done the research work at DKMM Research center on Study of Dermatitis cases, study of Common cold cases, clinical conditions acute presentation of acute Psoric Miasm are observed study of Anaemia with homoeopathic drug, study of iron deficiency Anaemia, Drug proving new drug & Pocpailion Materia Medica.
She participated in different training programme as faculty / member. She has attended workshops /seminars / symposia etc. during her academic career. Amongst workshop it is specifically mentioned that she has attended annual conference of Russian Association at Moscow and presented paper on Homoeopathy during the year 2004.
She has performed the duty as paper setter, examiner and moderators. She had undertaken responsibilities of implementation the NSS Programme as per guidelines of the University as NSS Programme Officer of Dr.Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University, Nashik and Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, Nashik. She has played main roll to coordinate the programme i.e. Ashwamedh, Spandhan 2006 of MUHS, Nashik and made them success.
Apart from the duties of teaching, she has received meritorious Health Excellence Award from the Global Society for Health and Education Growth, New Delhi, Life time achievement award from All India Business Development Association for excellence in Chosen field of activity and is also honoured with certificate of appreciation by Mahaveer International Aurangabad for outstanding and dedicated services in educational field.
She is not only teacher, administrative officer but she is also author who has published books and articles of national and international levels. She is functioning as Chief editor of DKMM Journal namely Gems of Homoeopathy (Quarterly) and executive Editor of Medical Probe (Weekly).
Apart from all these responsibilities of teaching, administrative functions, social work, research activities she has the status of mother for students and specifically for girl students and use to guide for their behavior in academic career and future domestic life.
